crafts where independent. control device EKP-3 can not be installed
by some reasons. The speed of compensating movement will be com
manded as a function of set (on command board) values of survey in
tervals and percentage of over-lap.
Resides the control mark the following technical data are
printed along the upper and down edge of each image: air camera
number, image number, survey code, date of survey, watches,
exposure value, relative aperture value, film light:. sensitivity
value.
The camera is commanded by electronic board where the following
data are indicated: camera "on”, exposure value, relative aperture
and film sensitivity in AEG, compensation speed, number of the next
image, sequence of cyclic operation of air survey camera.
The results of laboratoric tests and flight tests of samples of
AFA-TK-10/ 18 camera show the following: photoimage resolving power-
46 mnr 1 ,medium range pho tog rainme t. r i c distortion - 4 jnkm, medium
square error for deformation and non-flatness of air survey film -
6 jnkm , exposure interval - 1/40 to 1/800 s., accuracy of compensa
tion speed operation - 10%, cyclic period of camera operation -
2,5 s .
The resolution in the flight, raises 6-7 times for T-38 film and
3 - 4 times for T-42 film when forward motion compensation is ap
plied. Application of T-38 film allows t.o increase 1,3 time the ac
curacy of elevation calculation and consequently to decrease the
scales of photography. Picture 4 shows 5-times enlarged image frag
ments taken with and without F.M.C. use.
Picture 4. Air photographs made without (to the left) and with
(t.o the right) use of F.M.C. 5-times enlargement.
