suitable (SI), moderately suitable (S2), marginally

Doon Valley
Similar study was carried out in parts of Doon
Valley. All the soil association units were evaluated for
wheat, summer paddy and forestry. Four suitability
classes namely highly suitable (SI), moderately suitable
(S2) marginally suitable (S3) and not suitable (N) were
considered (FAO 1976). All the soil units and their land
properties were evaluated for wheat, summer paddy and
forestry by using the querry shell of ARC/INFO G1S.
