Remote Sensing Industry Development Trends Are Important to
Understand, Appreciate, and Factor into UNISPACE III Consideration.
Today, many remote sensing satellite systems are already in
orbit operating, will soon be launched, are in definition, or
are under development. Figure 4: is a representation of the
expanding list of systems both nationally and commercially
based. Clearly Sir Arthur Clarke’s, “Dawn of the Age of
Transparency” lies just around the millennia comer.
