techniques into a complete work-flow and demonstrate its 
practical application in a veritable archaeological environ 
ment. Therefore only standard hardware has been used, 
namely cheap digital consumer cameras and average PCs, 
and the recordings have been made on site without specif 
ically preparing the artefacts for recording. It has been 
shown that the described technologies are mature and can 
be applied under realistic conditions.
