The images are taken on a boat using a tripod fixed on the boat. 
The coordinates of the image exposure stations are obtained 
with a Etrex legend GPS device in ± 3-5 m error limits.

4.2 The 1/500 Scaled Silhouette of Eminonu, Fatih Coastes 
(Historical Peninsula), 
To obtain best results the historical peninsula is divided into 
five regions. (Fig.5) According to the light condition the images 
in the 3, 4, 5 regions are taken in the morning and the 1. and 2 
regions in the afternoon (Fig.8). 
Totally 331 images are taken for the historical peninsula. The 4.3 Geodetic Measurements 
sketch below shows the planned exposure stations of the images |g triangulation points and connected to these points 32 
at the Eminonu and Fatih shores ( Fig.7 ).
