The image on the front cover shows Sanssouci Palace in the close neighbourhood of the symposium venue, the University of 
Potsdam. The Palace was erected for the Prussian King Frederik II. by the master builder von Knobelsdorff in the years 1745 - 1747. 
It is part of the cultural landscape »Palaces and Parks of Potsdam and Berlin« which has been declared a UNESCO World Cultural 
Heritage Site in 1990.
