class, displayed on screen.Crop
requirements for an attribute.
2.e Land suitability map.
The matching information is linked with the actual
map and a crop suitability map can be displayed
(figure 2.8). A hard copy on an inkjet plotter can
be made.
2.f Printing tables.
The constructed attribute, land unit and crop
requirements tables can be printed on a printer
(figure 2.9).
2.g Overlay of maps
A land suitability map can be overlayed with e.g. an
infrastructure map (figure 2.10).

2.c Land unit and crop requirements table.
These tables are constructed and edited by using the
attribute table. Attributes and values are indicated
by cursor movement.
Each land unit or crop can be displayed per
attribute with its values (figure 2.6).
2.d Matching.
To obtain a land suitability map for each defined
crop the above mentioned tables (section 2.c) have
to be matched. Each crop and its subclasses have to
be assigned a color. This is done by displaying all
possible colors on the screen and choosing by cursor
movement (figure 2.7).
