Zoom Sight 20 X
The Zoom Sight 20 X by Kern & Co. AG is the second new
product in the sector of optical interpretation aids to be discus
sed.
The Zoom Sight 20 X is a mechanical-optical electronic system
with which you can interpret a mono image only via a screen.
With the optical system of the Zoom Sight 20 X two zoom lenses,
which are staggered by 90°, are interconnected in series.
Here are the most important optical data:
■ Overall zoom range
■ Lens diameter
maximum
minimum
■ Display field diameter
■ Colour correction
■ Focusing range min.
■ Resolution with largest
magnification in middle of image
■ Contrast, measured at aperture
F= 11
■ Working distance
As shown in the figure, the lens captivates with its compact con
struction - just like the entire system in its compactness shows
space-saving and mobile features.
The image is transmitted to the high-resolution television came
ra- especially designed for this device - via three 90° deviating
prisms thus referring to the electronic part.
