All these factors with their corresponding weights are analysed. In 
this case the higher weight will reflect a larger probability that flood 
will occur. For example in a basin of more that 80 % consisted of forest, 
the weight assigned will be much lower than of a basin that consisted 
largely barren or urban areas. 
Figure 1 shows the flood prone areas under normal rainfall intensity 
of the study area after performing the risk probability analysis.
