the questionnaire reveal that 53% of the reporting countries are not 
in favor of such a verbal presentation while only 46% of the reporting 
countries are in favor of a verbal presentation. 
Quest ion 5 fNational Reports, Category of Papers] 
At ISPRS Congresses there are submitted Invited Papers and Presented 
Papers. The question arises here whether National Reports might belong 
to one of these groups of papers or whether National Reports should 
belong to a special category of submitted papers. The replies to the 
questionnaire reveal that 69% of the reporting countries consider that 
the National Reports should be classified as belonging to a special 
category of papers submitted to the ISPRS Congresses. However, it 
should be mentioned that 19% of the reporting countries suggest that 
the National Reports should be considered to belong to the category of 
Presented Papers and 12% of the reporting countries consider that the 
National Reports should fall under the category of Invited Papers. 
Question 6 TSummary of National Report 1 
The possibility should be considered for the National Reports to in 
clude a summary in one, two or all three ISPRS official languages 
(English, French & German). From the replies to the questionnaire it 
follows that 53% of the reporting countries consider that the National 
Reports should include a summary. Of this, 67% of the reporting 
countries suggest that the summary should be in English; 11% suggest 
that the summary should be in French, 11% consider that the summary 
should be in English and French and another 11% are in favor of a 
summary in English and German. As to the length of such summaries 
different figures are proposed varying from 100 words to 2,000 words 
with an average of 550, words. 
Question 7 fComplete or Selective List of Publications in the National 
Report 1 
During the beti^een ISPRS congress period a more or less extensive 
number of publications are produced in the ISPRS member countries. In 
some of these countries the list of such publications would fill quite 
a number of pages in the National Report which could result in an
