Des études et des expériments remarquables ont été effectuées, après le Con grès de Washington (1952), dans le domaine de la photogrammétrie non stric tement topographique. On peut dire, sans crainte de méprise, que ces applica tions prennent un essort toujours plus vaste vers de nouvelles initiatives. Depuis les applications classiques de la photogrammétrie à l’architecture et à la criminalistique, on est arrivé, petit à petit, à envahir les domaines de la science des constructions, des constructions voyères etc., ce qui fait qu’en reportant ce qui a été réalisé de 1952 à 1956, nous avons pu distribuer la matière en sept chapitres fondamentaux correspondants à autant de secteurs d’applications, chacun desquels est articulé en paragraphes de spécialisations, il ne faudra pas s’étonner, cependant, si certaines applications se trouveront insérées dans plus d’un paragraphe, en raison de l’argument traité. Pour mettre en évidence l’ensemble des travaux effectués par différents pays sur les divers arguments, nous avons adopté la classification suivante: A. Architecture et technique 1) Travaux et reconstructions architectoniques. 2) Etudes et mensurations des déformations élastiques dans les constructions. 3) Epreuve des matériaux de construction. 4) Constructions voyères. B. Archéologie et beaux arts 1 ) Recherches archéologiques, reconstructions, études et restauration de monu ments insignes.
