Perfectionnement des instruments pphotogrammetriques RESUME On peut perfectionner les appareils analogiques de photogrammetrie par codage ou interfacage avec des logiciels CAO. La conception des systemes de codage comprend l'utilisation de codeurs rotatifs ou linéaires montés suivant les axes de coordonnées d'une photographie ou d'un modèle. Pour l'interfacage, on a habituellement recours aux cartes à circuits intégrés conçues pour l'UCT des micro-ordinateurs compatibles et largement répandus. Les systèmes informatiques de CAO peuvent avoir été créés spécialement pour la cartographie numérique ou provenir de l'adaptation d'ensembles matériel/logiciel standards. Le passage complet à l'exploitation analytique constitue une approche plus radicale qui exige des dispositifs mécaniques particuliers et un système informatisé de «contrôle d'épreuves». Une meilleure intégration aux logiciels CAO est également mise en application. Cependant, il est possible que l'analyse coûts-avantages ne justifie plus l'amélioration des instruments analogiques typiques, vu la disponibilité de systèmes abordables basés sur des images numériques.
