Orientement externe pour système aéroporté de cartographie 
en temps réel 
RÉSUMÉ 
Les applications de cartographie en temps réel nécessitent en 
principe deux sources principales de données. Il faut d'une part 
connaître les paramètres de géométrie d'observation pendant le vol 
et recueillir d'autre part le plus d'informations possible en ce 
qui a crait à l'espace objet à cartographier. 
Le présent document traite de la saisie de l'information relative 
à la géométrie d'observation. Depuis l'avénement du systéme de 
positionnement global (GPS), il est devenu possible de déterminer 
en temps réel et avec une grande précision (« 1 m) la position 
d'un aéronef. La mise au point récente des récepteurs GPS 
multiantennes vient en plus compléter cette information en donnant 
aussi l'attitude de" l'aéronef, avec une précision angulaire de 
l'ordre de 0,5 degrés et également en temps réel. Le systéme de 
positionnement global permet donc maintenant de déterminer en 
temps réel tout l'orientement externe d'un aéronef en mouvement. 
Le présent document se veut une analyse des problémes de précision 
du systéme de positionnement global et de détermination de 
l'attitude de l'aéronef de cartographie, dans les conditions types 
d'un vol normal et en temps réel. Les données de cette analyse 
ont été recueillies lors de vols d'un appareil expérimental équipé 
de matériel photogrammétrique.
