SURVEILLANCE DE LA MODIFICATION DE L'ENVIRONNEMENT COTIER PAR THERMOGRAPHIE par S. SOUDOPLATOFF Service des Applications nouvelles Télédétection et Cartographie Spatiale L'image obtenue par télédétection thermique d'un site donne accès à deux paramètres : la température et l'émissivité, ainsi qu’à leur varia- . tions spatiales et temporelles. Ce sont deux indicateurs d'un environnement côtier. Par exemple un rejet polluant sera visible sur une thermograp hie. Une élévation de la température entraîne des modifications des écosystèmes côtiers. L'Institut Géographique National effectue des contrôles, sur le plan qualitatif et quantitatif. L'inventaire des rejets des côtes Françaises a été effectué en 1974, et depuis de nombreuses opérations ponctuelles ont eu lieu. Les panaches thermiques des centrales EDF font également l'objet d'une surveillance et d'une restitution cartographique en courbes isothermes. 649 rerit
