COURS DE FORMATION POUR OPERATEUR EN RELEVEMENT 
PHOTOGRAMMETRIQUE DES BIENS CULTURELS 
Résumée 
La CEE a financié pour les deux années 1989/90 une école de 
spécialisation en relèvement phôtogrammétrique à courte 
distance. L’école a son siège à Vercelli, Italie; on décrit 
les motivations et les buts qu’ont permis sa naissance et 
conduit son dévéloppement opératif. 
L’Italie possède sur son territoire à peu près 40% de tous 
les biens culturels de la terre. La concentration de ce 
patrimoine considérable demande d’abord une catalogation 
detallié qui décrie chaque bién et qui permet éventuellement 
des interventions de restauration. 
Cette catalogation, pas seulement qualificative mais meme 
métrique, trouve dans le relèvement photogrammétrique 
terrestre la réponse plus » valide aux exigences 
d’intervention. C’est donc prévu, dans les prochaines 
années, une exigence considérable de revèlement 
photogrammétrique terrestre. Déjà aujourd’hui les opérations 
de ce type sont remarquables; mais le travail vient réfréné 
par l’insuffisance de disponibilité des organismes proposés 
à cette tache et les Compagnies qui travaillent en 
relèvement photogrammétrique, n’ont pas assez opérateurs 
formés professonalement à ces opérations. Il va sans dire 
que du point de vue de 1’impostation téorique les reliefs 
terrestre et aeréen sont presque pareils; du point de vue 
pratique au contraire, le relief terrestre est, comme 
opération de prise, de restitution et de élaboration finale 
est assez différent de celui aéreen. 
L’introduction dans la production cartografique des 
restituteurs analytiques donne, en téorie, la possibilité 
des emplois des restituteurs analytiques pour les reliefs 
terrestres; l’emploi des restituteurs analogiques cet emploi 
c’était sans doute limité par la différente condition de la 
prise terrestre assez dépendante de la forme de l’objet, but 
du relief. Mais quand on exécute des restitutions de prise 
terrestre par restituteurs analytiques l’emploi n’est pas- 
toujours possible, tandis qu’il y a actuellement que
