colour, texture, quality of boundaries, homogeneity
of shape and size and the relative size.
1. ) colour : the macro PMU are subdivided into smal
ler units of different colours.
2. ) texture : textural elements are grouped into three
categories : fine(f), medium(M) and coarse(c).
3. ) quality of boundry :
X = very distinct, sharp and high contrast.
Y = not distinct, not sharp and low contrast.
4. ) homogeneity of shape and size within the PMU.
H = homogeneous size and shape.
h = heterogeneous size and shape
5. relative size : p. = relative large size ;
b. = relative small size.
