Using the same data, according to classical F.Leberl model 11111 ’ 21
and polynomial orthorectification model, a same experiment of
same side and opposite side stereo modes has been done. The
experiment results of two stereo position methods are shown in
Table 1.

Comparing with the results of two stereo position methods, it is
clear that: although the experimental results of F.Leberl model
are better than the position method suggested in this paper,
there are a few differences between them, especially in the
opposite side and cross stereo modes, the differences are much
fewer.
5. CONCLUSION
With the rapid development of SAR technology, it is becoming
easily to obtain stereo SAR images by satellite and plane. It
also provides a chance for StereoSAR research, especially with
the appearance of high resolution SAR image, the accuracy of
generating DEM will be enhanced. So the appliance foreground
of StereoSAR must be better.
In this paper, several stereo position models have been
compared in detail, calculating flow of polynomial
orthorectification model has been improved, and validity of this
model has been tested by experiments. Comparing with the
classical F.Leberl model, this method is practical and easy to
achieve, and the results between them have few differences, so
it is proved that the model studied in this paper has a practical
application value.
