the attachment of new models, and the adjustment of the final
strip by computer to fit control, such as discussed by
Mr. G. H. Schut [7] of Ottawa, Canada in numerous papers.

The provisional solution determines ground coordinates
of numerous points on every photograph correct within a
meter or two. A resection solution is then computed for each
photograph, and finally the simultaneous adjustment of all the
resection parameters is computed inasmuch as each ground point
and each camera station must have a unique set of position
coordinates.
Autometric Operation is scheduled to apply the three
photo model idea of Dr. Edward Mikhail [8] instead of the
two-photo solution of C&GS. This should, add considerable rigo
to the provisional solution.
