Conclusion 
The Stereomat A 2000 design has realized the capability of producing highly accurate 
orthophoto’s with a resolution of up to 60 lines per mm as referred to the diapositive with 
a simultaneous contour segment plot and digital record output. 
In order to utilize the resolution available, first order accuracy is necessary not only in the 
electronics, but in the mechanical and optical portions of the machine as well. From the 
orthophotos now obtainable from the Stereomat A 2000, it can be said that the original 
design goals set at the beginning of this project have been met.
