Photogrammetric Equipment 
WILD RC 8 Automatic Film Camera. Particularly suitable for small air 
craft, taking six different lenses (three of them for infrared photography), 
displayed with two 6 in. Aviogon lens cones and 9 in. x 9 in. magazines, one 
with the normal between-the-lens shutter and also the plug for connecting 
the Statoscope: the second has the Rotary Shutter, normally for exposures 
from 1/100 to 1/700 sec. This camera is for precision cartographic photo 
graphy of all kinds. A new feature is the pressure plate without suction 
grooves. 
The RC 8 is augmented by the new WILD RST 2 Statoscope for the 
measurement of height differences of in-flight exposure station as an aid 
in aerotriangulation, the readings being recorded directly on each 
photograph. 
The new WILD HC 1 Horizon Camera. For use with the WILD aerial 
cameras, is displayed with the RC 8. Four horizon pictures at 90° are 
recorded, with clock time and counter, on a 35 mm. perforated film, for 
determination of camera tip and tilt, exposure being synchronised with 
the main camera. 
WILD RC la Automatic Plate Camera. For the Aviogon and Aviotar wide 
and normal angle lenses, and the two infrared versions of these, the 
Infragon and Infratar, is here equipped with the 4 in. Aviogon wide-angle 
lens. This camera is designed for precision mapping at large scales 
(cadastral surveys) and aerial trangulation, and is chosen for work of high 
accuracy because of the stability of glass plates as a base for the emulsion. 
The picture size is 5-5 in. x 5-5 in. 
WILD RC 9 Automatic Super Wide-angle Camera. For small-scale 
photogrammetry, fitted with the new super wide-angle (120°) Super- 
Aviogon lens, f = 3-5 in. for 9 in. x 9 in. picture. The Super-Infragon lens is 
used with the RC 9 for infrared photography. The camera has several 
new features, such as the daylight loading cassettes. Correction for residual 
distortion, atmospheric refraction and earth curvature is made in the 
diapositive printer when plotting is done with the A 9 or B 9 instruments. 
If the B 8 Aviograph is used for plotting, correction of these factors can 
be made either in the printer, or by using correction plates in the B 8. 
WILD UA A Diapositive Printer with Cintel Dodging Unit. For transforma 
tion within the range 1 : T6-2. By using correction plates in the printing 
process, residual distortion and the effects of atmospheric refraction and 
earth curvature can be eliminated or a desired distortion can be introduced. 
The Cintel unit provides automatic toning of contrasts, thereby increasing 
the amount of detail visible in the photograph. 
WILD VG 1 Precision Enlarger. For direct enlargement from 0-75 to 7 x 
from negatives up to 9 in. x 9 in. equipped with the Reprogon lens of 
exceptionally high resolving power. Electrical drive with automatic 
focusing and a special condenser for even, brilliant, illumination are 
standard features of this enlarger.

WILD E 3 Rectifier. Equipped with the Reprogon lens, with the same 
brilliant illumination as in the VG 1, for negatives up to 9 in. x 9 in. size. 
A 40 in. x 40 in. table tilts up to 15 g about two axes, with automatic 
focusing and fulfilment of the Scheimpflug condition, for enlargement 
ratios from 0-8 x to 7 x. 
Shrinkage Scale. For the measurement of changes in dimension of the 
original negative. The glass scale is divided to 0T mm. and can be read 
to 0-01 mm. to 0-02 mm. by using the sliding glass lenses. Divided length 
of scale is 320 mm. (12-6 in.). 
(Note: WILD developing and film-drying equipment is not exhibited.) 
WILD Pug 2 Point Transfer Device. For stereoscopic identification, 
marking, and highly accurate transfer of pass points in aerotriangulation. 
This instrument speeds up and eases the work of stereopreparation, 
ensuring greater precision and further economies in this process. 
WILD RT 1 Radial Triangulator. For the measurement under stereoscopic 
observation of polar coordinates of aerial photographs for analytical 
radial triangulation, and for preparation for rectification. m

WILD A 7 Universal Autographo. A first-order instrument for three- x 
dimensional plotting at all scales from terrestrial and aerial photographs, cc 
and for aerotriangulation to bridge between geodetic control. h 
The model displayed is equipped with a motorised Z column drive for z 
rapid orientation of mountainous models, and with the large (43 in. x o 
55 in.) plotting table. The A 7 instrument coordinates are automatically 
registered by the WILD EK 3d Electric Coordinate Printer, which com- o 
mands up to five different recording devices simultaneously (IBM Type 
writer as displayed, tape punch, card punch, magnetic band recorder, 
flexowriter, etc.). 
WILD A 8 Autograph. For three-dimensional plotting at all scales from 
aerial photographs augments the A 7 for further economies in mapping 
and preparing topographical plans for engineering projects. Displayed 
with the medium (40 in. x 40 in.) plotting table, and the EK 3d Coordinate 
Printer for taking off instrument coordinates which are recorded by the 
IBM Typewriter, and by the new WILD SL 15 Tape Punch for computer 
input. 
WILD PR 1 Profiloscope. Displayed with the A 8, is for use with the A 7 
as well. Its purpose is to guide the operator from map to model for 
systematic, rapid, and reliable determination of profile point heights and 
coordinates. The glass diagrams, showing the highway centre line and 
graduated transverse cross-section lines at regular intervals, are obtainable 
in various scales in the metric and foot systems. 
WILD A 9 Wide-angle Autograph. A precision instrument for aero 
triangulation and plotting from wide and super wide angle vertical photo- __ 
graphs reduced to 4^ in.x 4| in. format, it being designed primarily for L?
