Activities and Products 
These are based on the well-known Dimensionally Stable plastic sheeting— 
ASTRAFOIL. Over the years many useful applications of this versatile 
material have been developed at their Frith Park laboratories and these 
have found a ready acceptance in Photogrammetric Circles where the 
utmost accuracy is essential. 
In addition, the Ordnance Survey, War Office, and many other Govern 
ment Departments use ASTRAFOIL extensively for cartographic work. 
In fact, it is used in Land and Survey Departments and Mapping Offices 
in 68 countries throughout the world. It has indeed made a major 
contribution to the industry and greatly influenced the rapid post-war 
development which has taken place.
