Limitations of present block adjustment techniques with respect to inclusion of auxiliary data are indicated. 
Suggestions are made regarding optimum distribution of ground control points and block adjustments systems 
which would make maximum use of auxiliary information. Finally, the accuracy and economy of the existing 
systems are illustrated by way of practical objects comprising several thousand stereomodels and the personal 
experience of the author.
