Comparison of the evaluation using different filters

The highest regression coefficients were obtained with unfiltered light and
with a green filter. The values for the regression coefficients decrease in
the sequence unfiltered light, green filter, red filter, blue filter.
Evaluation of the oblique photograph

An evaluation of the oblique photograph is possible. In each replication
the same arrangement of treated plots occurs in the order of increasing
transmission. The light transmission grows as the distance from the camera
increases. There is a relationship between the test values and the fungicide
treatment. Exceptions to this rule are an indication of technical errors in
setting up the trial.
Comparison of the "classical evaluation" with an "aerial evaluation"
The usual trial evaluation which depends on the evaluation of the infection
of the flag leaf or second leaf results in contradictory statements. A
summation of the two evaluations does not equal in this case the clear, un-
mistakable statement free from human error during picture taking and evalua-
tion that is delivered by the "aerial evaluation". Remote sensing not only
provides a statement on the overall situation; the data obtained in this
manner are also more significant statistically.
Conclusion
There exists a clear relationship between the densitometric test values of
the false-color infrared picture of a fungicide trial in winter wheat and
the estimated infection values for Puccinia striiformis. This method enables
a better differentiation of the success of various fungicide treatments.
