FIRST MEETING HELD ON WEDNESDAY, 14th SEPTEMBER, 1960 
In the Chair: Prof R. BURKHARDT, President 
Introduction by the President 
The President opened the session. He re- 
commended a visit to the Commission V ex- 
hibition at the Senate House. 
In order to avoid a session on Thursday 
there was discussion over three resolutions of 
Commission V: 
1. The Commission V wants to change its 
name to “Special Applications of Photogram- 
metry’. 
2. The Commission V recommends that the 
limits between the activities of the Commissions 
Archives 6 
IV, V and VII as they were outlined at the 
combined meeting on Wednesday, 7th Septem- 
ber are maintained for the coming four-years 
period. 
3. For the coming period three subjects of main 
interest will be recommended. 
For the first two resolutions there was an 
obvious majority in the audience, for the third 
it was not too conclusive. 
The President introduced with some words
