Abstract
Using réseau-scanning techniques for digital photogrammetric
recording digital images with high resolution and geometric
Stability can be obtained. Based on this principle the new
réseau-scanning imaging system Rolleimetric RS, consisting of
a A/D-conversion device for measurements of analogous photo-
graphs and a digital camera, is presented.
31. introduction
CCD-matrix sensors offer a solid state image surface and
therefore seem to be useful for photogrammetric applications
like A/D-conversion of analogous photographs or on-line
digital measurements.
Usual CCD-sensors have an image area of less than 100 mm:
(TV standard), which is too small to achieve a sufficient
image scale. Larger image formats can only be recorded by
single image frames, which later can be composed to a total
image. High optical and mechanical stability of the
instrument is required to obtain a precise orientation
of single image frames in the projection space.
BROWN and FRASER [1986] present a flad bed scanner with CCD-
matrix sensor, which allows on-line digital processing
of the present image frame. The system can be used as
an high accuracy automatic mono-comparator.
ALBERTZ [1986] discusses a grid-like arrangement of several
matrix sensors to achieve simultaneous recording
of a total image. Using optical systems or bundles
of optical light guides single image frames are projected
into the sensors' planes.
