1. Introduction
m —————^———A^A^————d
For tasks of urban and regional planning, the provision of
actual working material in form of maps is required. In many
cases photogrammetric data collection and processing methods
are applied for their making.
Linemaps are standard applications, produced by the use of
stereomodels. Another possibility is given by the differential
rectifcation of aerial photographs to orthophotomaps. Those
maps combine the advantage of the high information density of
aerial photographs with the advantage of an orthogonal pro-
jection of a map. Superimposition of othophotos and graphical
data, which are important for the planning procedures, result
in task-specific planning maps. :
By well-aimed selections, land related data - already existing
in a land information system - can be applied for the making of
those orthophotomaps.

A land information system exists of land related data and
methods for their collection, management, processing and pre-
sentation. Those digital data are related to different majors
like land regestry, topography, planning and utility documen-
tation.
