Abstract
Digital mapping techniques has reached a stage where raster
images both from satellites and aeroplanes (photograms) can
pe utilized in integration with IGS systems. This paper
Overviews a concept for this integration, first of all with
a mono photogrammetric solution. Market investigations show
that this concept covers different large scale requirements.
Introduction
Future or already existing graphic databases designed for
mapping applications need fast updating in fast developing
areas, i. e. urban areas.
A digital photogrammetric system integrated with an existing
geographic database would create the possibility for a fast
and flexible updating along with editing facilities.
The system will apply both raster technology (scanned image)
and vector technology (graphic database).
