ABSTRACT 
This work consists in the environmental study in watershed of Billings reservoir, southeast Säo Paulo, 
using TM-Landsat imagery integrated with thematic maps on SPRING georeference system. The main 
objective of the study was to analyse the dynamic land to environmental diagnosis of the watershed of 
reservoir. 1986 and 1992 land use maps produced by digital classification were analysed integrating 
geomorphologic, lithologic, batymetric and slop data. The integrated analysis of these thematic data on 
the SPRING system allowing to identify spatially critical areas with different levels of environmental 
degradation. A monitoring and recovering plane of the study area is proposed.
