activity in polimetal exploration. With qualified and enough information from field work which supports 
teledetection and that can load to new areas of interest. Digital image processing like: enhancement, 
classification and filtering techniques were used. These showed different surface characteristics of the area 
namely, some anomalies detected in the mentioned mining district. It is important to remark that this 
methodology will only be valid once the association between the visual interpretation results and the field 
thematic information is carried out.
