Chairman : 
Sanjib K. Ghosh is a professor in the Department of 
Photogrammetry, Laval University, Quebec, Canada. 
Educated in India, The Netherlands and the U.S.A., 
he has worked as a surveyor in India and as a teacher- 
researcher in the U.S.A. and Canada. He has authored 
three books and co-authored three other books. He 
continues to be associated with the academic programs 
of several universities in Brazil, India, Japan, Nige- 
ria and Ghana. Currently a consultant to the UNO, he 
continues serving the ISPRS and the American Society of 
Photogrammetry in various capacities. 
  
Rapporteur: 
Nasser A. Al-Homaid is Assist. Professor at the University 
of Petroleum and Minerals - Research Institute, Saudi Arabia. 
Educated in West Germany and U.S.A., involved in many applied 
research, which deal with land use classification, spatial 
and environmental changes, using photogrammetry and Remote 
Sensing, also involved in applied Desert Vegetation Research 
in the Kingdom.
