INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY FOR PHOTOGRAMMETRY AND REMOTE SENSING
Commission VI
Symposium held in Mainz, FR Germany, 22 - 25 September 1982
PREPARATION FOR ISPRS CONGRESS RIO DE JANEIRO 1934"
The Chairman reports on the recent ISPRS Council Meeting in Toulouse. He
applied there for two exclusive sessions with the reasoning that, although
nearly all photogrammetrists and remote sensing specialists agree that sol-
ving tha tasks of Commission VI is indispensable, most of them give preference
engaging themselves in the subjects of other Commissions. Consequently, the
audience of a session of Commission VI will be quite limited whenever there
are simultaneous sessions with other Commissions at the Congress.
