device is used, mix of raster and vector data is possible (Figure

Data elaborated in GeoSET can be transferred to other CAD or
GIS software via DXF format or in other ways. It is also
possible to import data to GeoSET.
GeoSET uses the Dynamic Data Exchange protocol to
accomplish dynamic linkage to relational database management
system -- Microsoft Access. As the linkage to relational
database is implemented, GeoSET may also be used as a LIS or
GIS management system. (Saczuk, 19962)
8. CONCLUSION
Our elaboration is not completed. We have not even realized
1/3 of the task. It is too early to formulate final conclusions.
We are faced with difficulties again and again. but we solve
them, sometimes taking great pains.
The elaboration is executed rhythmically and without delay. We
periodically deliver new parts of elaborated map sheets, which
enable another teams to do their work.
Although sometimes | feel tired, though the task seems to be
close to limits of our technical and executive possibilities, ^n
spite of great responsibility, I am sure that taking this challenge
was good choice for both our Department and for us personally.
The task we entered upon is chance to research development of
our Department. It gives opportunity to enlighten role and
significance of geodesy, photogrammetry and cartography in
the sphere of natural environment protection and
environmental monitoring.
Managing of such responsible undertaking is also a reason for
personal satisfaction. Good results in emploving of one's own
software is confirmation of sensibility of work realized for
years. | have motivation to further developing of GeoSET.
