significantly superior than MKF—6 due to the fact
that the space base is 3.3 times larger, the quality
of the film levelling is bettter and the value of
coordinates in difference from MKF—6 is standardized
at h— 9 mem.
The ground resolution of that data reaches 6
metres for the compact objects and even 4 metres if the
contrast ratio between the object and the background
is high. The line and long objects of 3—5 metres wide,
and sometime for contrast objects of 2 metres wide
can be surely interpreted.
The combination of large visibility with high
resolution allows to use this kind of space
photosurvey for enhancement of wide field of problems
— from the global to local and detailed.
By the results of photometrica1 measurements
the accuracy of the altitude dedtermination by MK—4
camera photoimages is characterized by medium square
error of 9.8 m.
The shown samples of photo pictures demonstrate the
examples of interpretation of photoimages acquired by
MK—4 camera.
