overlooked in the conservation studies in Turkey. Those
actions which should be carried out by the municipalities can
create a source economy in the long term; thus the cultural
heritage can be protected. This task should be handled by the
Conservation - Planning Department of the municipalities,
planning and monitoring should be carried out and the
Conservation Councils should be informed about
those activities.
