BRIEF ACCOUNT OF THE BIBLIOGRAPHY SET UP AT THE 
PHOTOGRAMMETRIC DIVISION OF THE ROYAL 
INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY IN STOCKHOLM

The photogrammetric literature at the Division of Photogrammetry 
has nowadays become very copious and is to be found in books, perio- 
dicals, reprints etc. It has therefore been necessary to register the artic 
les belonging to the subject of photogrammetry. To facilitate the tra 
cing of an article by a certain author or with certain contents, to find 
out where it was published, for instance, the bibliography is divided 
into three parts as follows: 
Index of authors: Index forms arranged alphabetically after 
the authors of the articles. 
Classification index: Index forms arranged after their classifica 
tion numbers. 
Index of subjects: Index forms arranged alphabetically after 
the "opening word" of the heading of the 
article. 
Among the items entered on the forms are: 
. Heading of article 
Name of author 
Classification number, given to the article after its contents accor- 
ding to the (decimal) classification system, which was used by 
Professor D. Hallert in his manual of photogrammetry 
Proper place of storage of the publication containing the article in 
question 
Number of pages of the article 
Language 
Year of publication 
That the article only exists as reprint of a certain publication 
Name of this publication
