The President: We come now to the Motions of the Delegates Meeting,
which will be read by the Secretary-General.
The Secretary-General then read out the following motions, each of which
was carried unanimously to become a resolution of the General Meeting.

A. To examine the Statutes in
general and in particular but not
exclusively:
1. The statement of the aims
of the Society.
2. The means by which its
aims should be achieved.
3. The need for some ex
pression of the Society’s in
ternational and non-political
character.
4. The methods of adher
ence to the Society.
5. The place of the Society
in the general stream of
scientific and technological
thought.
6. The method of calculating
subscriptions.
7. Whether it is desirable to
introduce Bye-laws to regu-
