Recommendations as to partial pest control can be deducted, 
thereby helping the farmers to save money, and preventing 
the pollution of non-infested soil. 
It is one of the first remote sensing applications for 
agicultural purposes, and the first one in West Germany, which 
is ready for practical use, and, in fact, is about to be 
applied in a large scale.
