4. CONCLUSION AND FUTURE PROSPECT 
1) It is clear that the 3D CG is very effective to understand the 
archaeological site which is mostly in ruin. It helps not only the 
general visitors but also specialists understanding of the site. In 
Olympia it is by far useful because the buildings are completely 
in ruin and it is hard to imagine the reconstructed views. 
2) The views of the site was enlivened very much with many 
sculptures which were dedicated by winners of the games. 
3) A row of the treasuries on the north end might have played 
much more important role than expected on the northeast corner 
of the sanctuary. They were built on the higher terrace with the 
grand staircase in front, and in addition with a rows of 
sculptures. It could be a predecessor of the grandiose and 
dramatic planning of the Hellenistic period. 
4) We reconstructed several classical sanctuaries in Greece, and 
in the future, we are going to make virtual museum of the 
classical sites much on the web pages.
