6. Perspectives in future
ISCGM adopted at the third meeting the above-mentioned technical
specifications, but these specifications should be improved
continuously. Further development of the detailed specifications are
bound with no contradiction to other geographic data
standardization, especially to the ISO/TC211. Participation of
various organizations in this project will be further needed for the
actual data set preparation. Although diverse tasks are existing in
undertaking this project, not only in data preparation but also in
effective data utilization, we will do our best to concentrate much
wisdom for this project.
