Int rodu ctlon .
The photogrammetrie Institut of the Technical University
of Hannover is engaged in software development for the
Analytical Plotter AP/C-3, to extend the possibilities
of this digital photo gramme trie instrument.
A brief summary of these activities is given in this
paper.
Systcm co nfiguration of th e AP/C-3•
The control computer of the OMI-Analytical. Plotter is
an IBM 1120 unit with 8 k core storage and a magnetic
disk with 212 000 16 -bit words, I/O-units are paper
tape reader /-punch and console keyboard-printer.
The base of the soft\vax*e system is an Assembler real-
tine program, written at the University of New Brunswick,
Canada (Fig.1). It is maintained by the IBM 1120 disk
Monitor system version 2«
For relative and absolute orientation computation,
independent Fortran programs are existing. Tney are
connected with the real-time program, by the 1120 disk
LINK capability. A COMMON data area is reserved in core
for parameters used in the different independent programs
