- 47% of the reporting countries recommend that in the National Report 
it should be reported on the status of photogrammetric and remote 
sensing manpower training [and education] for the reporting period. 
In addition to these items other comments were formulated in the 
completed questionnaires and other subjects to be included in the 
National Reports were suggested by some reporting countries such as: 
A list of the country's academic and professional organizations in 
volved in photogrammetry and remote sensing 
- Viorking-out and circulation of guidelines for the preparation of the 
National Reports 
Reporting of production rates of photogrammetric and remote sensing 
operations 
It should be cleared up hot? many copies of the National Report 
should be produced and circulated; v T ho is to print and vdio is to 
cover the printing costs of the National Reports [the ISPRS Con 
gress Board, the National Committee or both together?] 
Some Conclusions 
It is concluded that this paper could be a useful working paper 
for the working out of concise guidelines (instructions) for the prep 
aration of National Reports. To this already the following most im 
portant indications appear to crystallise: 
The National Report should be prepared according to the tasks of 
the ISPRS Commissions [report first on activity belonging to 
Commission I, then Commission II, etc.] 
National Reports should neither belong to the categories of 
Invited nor Presented Papers; they should be assigned to belong 
to a specia’ category of papers
