The length of the National Report should not exceed 20 pages. 
Rccomracndations 
In conjunction with the presentation of this paper at the 1990 
ISPRS Commission VI Rhodes Symposium it is recommended to form an 
extended task force on National Reports consisting of a few interested 
Symposium participants. During the Symposium this group should work 
out concise guidelines for the preparation of National Reports, guide-

lines which could be or should be approved as resolutions in the Clos 
ing Session of the Symposium. Upon approval of the guidelines it 
would then be the task of Commission VI Board/TF "National Reports" to 
forward the guidelines to the responsible National Committees with the 
suggestion or the request that future National Reports be prepared 
according to these guidelines.
