programmetry and the scope for even greater 
benefits is virtually unlimited given that software is 
now the basis of nearly all future developments. 
The principles upon which photogrammetry was 
founded remain unchanged, but the tools that we use 
today mean that we can derive greater benefit from 
processing those same aerial photographs in what now 
a softcopy world.
