The hardware supplied in this contract will provide a uniform 
platform for the support of the above software. It is composed 
of four workstations, each of which supports a section of the 
overall project functions, as follows: 
map generation workstation; 
map editing workstations; 
spatial analysis workstation; 
image processing workstation; 
These workstations will be linked together in a local area 
network to a network server which provides facilities for the 
same workstations, including plotting, printing, database 
storage and backup. In addition, two map revision workstations 
using optical projection systems will also be provided for 
processing analog data.
