Commission VI - Education, Terminology and Bibliography 
Noting that the International 
Dictionary is now almost ready 
for publication, and that the In 
ternational Bibliography is being 
very capably organised and main 
tained by the International Train 
ing Centre at Delft, and that it is 
now available to all at the cost 
only of printing and mailing, it is 
recommended that the new Board 
of Commission VI give first 
priority to work on International 
Terminology, including symbols 
and notation. 
Noting that, in accordance with 
the resolution passed in 1956, all 
member Societies have agreed to 
co-operate in the work of prepar 
ing abstracts for the International 
Bibliography, those Societies who 
have not yet commenced such 
work are strongly urged to do so. 
It is recommended that a care 
ful survey be made of the educa 
tional and training facilities in 
photogrammetry in all member 
countries.

ternationale Trainings-Zentrum in 
Delft in sehr geeigneter Weise 
organisiert und fortgefährt wird 
und jetzt für jedermann zu den 
Kosten von Druck und Versand 
verfügbar ist, wird empfohlen, 
dass der neue Ausschuss der Kom 
mission VI der Arbeit an der In 
ternationalen Terminologie, ein 
schliesslich der Symbole und Be 
zeichnungen. den Vorrang gibt. 
Da alle Mitgliedgesellschaften, 
in Uebereinstimmung mit der 1956 
beschlossenen Resolution, zuge 
stimmt haben, bei der Vorberei 
tung von Auszügen für die Inter 
nationale Bibliographie zusam 
menzuarbeiten, werden jene Ge 
sellschaften. die damit noch nicht 
begonnen haben, dringend aufge 
fordert, dies zu tun. 
Es wird empfohlen, einen sorg 
fältigen Ueberblick über die Lehr- 
und Uebungsmöglichkeiten in 
Photogrammetrie in allen Mit 
gliedstaaten aufzustellen.

That Commission VII continue 
to use the Working Group 
system of subdividing its field of 
interest and that the list of 
working groups be revised or 
increased as needed by the Presi 
dent of Commission VII. It is 
suggested that the list of working 
groups include: 
1. Photography, techniques 
and instruments 
2. Geology 
3. Soils 
4. Vegetation 
5. Ice 
6. Archaeology 
7. Oceanography 
8. Geographical Studies.
